Who is the Socialist?

"A few weeks before she (Sarah Palin) was nominated for Vice-President, she told a visiting journalist—Philip Gourevitch, of this magazine—that “we’re set up, unlike other states in the union, where it’s collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs.”

The recent suggestion that Obama is a socialist also, seems ridiculous when a republican, GWBush created the largest bank purchase in US history....all US citizens now, cooperatively (i.e. socially) own a national bank. Go W go! Uh, but don't call it 'Socialism.'

This Man Respects His Elders...he still respects his family and honors his roots.....he is leaving the campaign trail to be with his beloved grandmother....when have we ever seen such devotion; power aside? Obama is sprung from a different and better mold...he has my prayers...

"Senator Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has always been one of the most important people in his life, along with his mother and his grandfather," Gibbs said. "Recently his grandmother has become ill and in the last few weeks her health has deteriorated to the point where her situation is very serious. It is for that reason that Sen. Obama has decided to change his schedule on Thursday and Friday so that he can see her and spend some time with her."
