"Reporters Without Borders released a bulletin today regarding the case of the arrested Kurdish writer, Dr. Kamal Sayid Qadir, who was sentenced for 30 years by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) for criticizing key figures of the KDP leadership. "
Ironically, the KDP issued a statement claiming "that the principles of human rights and the freedom of expression are respected, promoted, and assured for all persons throughout the Kurdistan."
