Bush Threatens to Veto Defense Bill if amendments added to regulate care of prisoners and probe prisoner abuse scandals. This evil wacko will withold funding the troops in order continue abusing prisoners! Why can't the Dems take this and scream! We should encourage Congress to submitt the bill anyway. Bush is too much of a coward to not sign the bill. But, if he did as he says, the fallout would attract worldwide attention. So, it is a win, either way for our side.
